These memories ranging from life on the farm and "sliding" adventures at school to provide a fascinating look into what life was like in the first half of the 20th century.

$15 +S&H This diverse county of Vermont has witnessed an incredible number of events and generated a rich collection of memories. Seventeen residents share their stories of Life in Windsor County and when combined with over 250 historical photos a unique and fascinating look at the areas history emerges.

$15 +S&H Life in Essex County combines the memories and stories of ten local residents with over 200 historical photographs. Stories ranging from skidding logs with horses to haying by hand provide a unique and fascinating look at the areas history.

$15 +S&HLife in Caledonia County combines the stories and memories of fifteen local residents sharing what life was like growing up in the area and is accompanied by over 200 historical photographs.

Life in Grand Isle County (Length: 31 minutes)

$15 +S&HLife in Grand Isle County shares the stories and memories of seven local residents who tell Vermont¹s unique history as they lived it. Life in the islands was dictated by the transportation of the time; the lake, railroad & dirt roads, including Route 2.

$15 +S&HLife in Chittenden County shares the stories and memories of 13 local residents who tell Vermont's history as they lived it. Included are stories about the lakes significance, rural farm life, the Winooski mills, the bustling Burlington waterfront economy, depression and WWII times.

Memories of Montpelier (Length: 27 minutes)

$15 +S&HMemories of Montpelier is a 1/2 hour program that shares the stories of twelve Montpelier residents who as kids 'prowled the streets' and made their own entertainment during the days of trolley cars and ice delivery wagons. Relive the early days in our capital city with first hand stories accompanied by local photographs.

$15 +S&H Fourteen residents from Orleans County tell of their childhood and share memories from a rugged and creative generation. Life in Orleans is the third documentary in a series that teams videographer Vince Franke with Bill Doyle's Vermont History class at Johnson State College to capture local stories, photographs and music to provide a sense of what life was like in the first half of the 20th century.

Common Ground: The Stories of Waterbury to Warren (Length: 33 minutes)

$12 +S&HCommon Ground: The stories of Waterbury to Warren, is a video produced by Vince Franke with the research assistance of Harwood Union’s Vermont History Class (04/05). As Vermont history students studied the state’s history they related their findings back to their own towns heritage. What results is the telling of many stories relating to six communities along Vermont’s oldest north/south highway. Route 100 becomes the common ground of our relationship to Vermont’s land over time.
