Keep an eye out for the upcoming DVD exploring the unique flora and fauna of California’s San Joaquin grassland ecosystem, threats from the loss and degradation of these grasslands, and conservation measures being implemented to restore and protect this important habitat. Through visual representation of the unique flora and fauna and interviews with managers, researchers, and private landowners, we will explore current management and the science behind management schemes, including the role of fire, livestock grazing, and restoration efforts. This educational program will be produced in English and Spanish.
